Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced a player’s chances, they can buy or sell shares, driving the prediction market odds closer to what they perceive as the true probability. It is common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of trading activity occurs.
