Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by traders' beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to note that sportsbooks and this market both represent probabilities, and their differences can stem from varying information and analytical approaches.
