Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If there's a significant discrepancy, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, especially in response to breaking news or shifts in public opinion.
