Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying information sources and incentives. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to continuously adjust probabilities based on new information and analysis. Discrepancies can emerge from differing opinions on player form, injury reports, or even subtle factors not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. Examining these differences can reveal valuable insights into where the crowd believes the edge lies.
