Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, reflecting their profit margin, and may be influenced by marketing or public perception. This market, however, represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to make accurate predictions. While sportsbook odds may initially differ, they often converge with prediction market probabilities as the event approaches, as traders incorporate new information and refine their assessments. It's important to consider both sources when forming your own opinion.
