Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect collective trader sentiment and can diverge from traditional sportsbook lines due to different pricing mechanisms and participant behavior. While sportsbooks set odds based on analytics and risk management, this market lets participants bet directly on their expectations, often resulting in unique price patterns. Traders should compare both sources to identify potential value differences and understand how crowd-driven forecasts stack up against established sportsbook assessments for the same event.
