Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, the prediction market odds will likely move in the opposite direction. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of money has been traded on Polymarket.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. As more shares are traded, the price fluctuates, reflecting the collective assessment of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share represents the probability of that outcome occurring, while the price of a 'no' share represents the probability of the opposite outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome is the winner and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will settle.
