Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis beyond what’s readily available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to trade, potentially leading to odds that more accurately represent the true probability of an outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within each venue. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks.
