If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market represents the collective belief of informed traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each market. If you find a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and the odds offered by a sportsbook, it might indicate an opportunity for value betting, assuming you have a strong conviction about the actual outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of its probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher its share price will climb. Conversely, if sentiment shifts towards a different result, the price of that outcome’s shares will decrease. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market constantly adjusts to new information and reflects the evolving expectations of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the VV Zwaluwen versus VPV Purmersteijn match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result published by the relevant sporting authority. Any disputes regarding the official score will be addressed according to Polymarket’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or shifts in team form could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, especially if they favor one team’s playing style over the other. Furthermore, general soccer news, expert analysis, and even large individual trades on Polymarket can all contribute to price movements in this market as traders react to new information and adjust their positions.
