Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of each fighter winning. If there's a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market perceives information differently than the sportsbooks, or that one venue has access to unique insights. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbook odds in accuracy over time, though this isn't always the case.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to changing conditions and provides a real-time estimate of expectations for the Volkov vs. Troian fight.

This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Volkov vs. Troian fight, as declared by the relevant governing body.
