The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price reflects the aggregate opinion of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the likely result of the women's tennis match. This allows for a fluid valuation based on evolving information and perspectives.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the women's tennis match, as declared by the governing tennis organization. Traders who held shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution. The process aims to be transparent and based on objective evidence.
