On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, similar to a stock exchange. Traders buy and sell shares representing the probability of a particular outcome. As more people buy shares in an outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure decreases the price and probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share reflects the market’s belief that the outcome will occur, while the 'no' share represents the belief that it will not. The current volume traded provides insight into the market’s confidence.
This market resolves around Oct 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on the official result of the Vlasenko vs. Mitla match, as determined by the event organizers and reported by recognized sports news sources. The market will then settle to either 100% for the winning outcome or 0% for the losing outcome, based on the official result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout equivalent to their share amount.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 2, 2026. Any news regarding the physical condition of either Vlasenko or Mitla, such as injuries or illness, would likely have a significant impact. Changes in public perception, reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also shift the market. Unexpected announcements about the match's location or rules might also cause price fluctuations. Finally, large trades on Polymarket by influential traders could temporarily move the market, although these effects are often short-lived.
