Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. On this market, odds may move faster or differently than sportsbook spreads because traders respond immediately to breaking news or injury reports. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value, though both reflect genuine uncertainty about whether the teams will score three or more combined goals.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order flow, where traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" and "no" outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the current balance of buy and sell orders; as more traders believe the teams will score three or more goals, the "yes" price rises. You can place limit or market orders to enter or exit your position at any time before the market closes. The platform's matching engine ensures transparent, real-time pricing based on actual trader demand.

This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the Virtus vs Dila match concludes and the final goal tally is verified. The outcome is determined by whether the two teams scored three or more goals in total during the fixture. Your position will settle automatically based on the confirmed result from credible public sources covering the event. Until that point, you can trade your shares freely on the platform.

Several factors can shift odds before the match begins. Team news—such as injuries to key strikers or defensive players—often triggers sharp price moves, as does confirmation of starting lineups. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions can also influence trader expectations about goal-scoring likelihood. Once the match starts, live action will drive continuous repricing; early goals or red cards typically move the market significantly. Monitor official team announcements and credible sports news outlets to stay ahead of sentiment changes.
