Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by trader consensus and real-time supply and demand. For player performance props like this one, sportsbooks may incorporate sharper statistical models, but prediction markets can react faster to breaking news, lineup changes, or injury updates. Neither is inherently more accurate; they simply represent different market structures and incentive systems.
