This prediction group covers various markets related to the Viking FK vs. Kristiansund BK Eliteserien match, including spreads, over/under goals, and both teams to score. Markets span first and second halves, and individual team goal totals. A separate market exists for a Champions League match between VfB Stuttgart and Viking FK.
More markets for the Norway Eliteserien game, scheduled for September 13 at 8:30 AM ET.
If Stuttgart and Viking both score a goal in the Stuttgart vs Viking Champions League match originally scheduled for Sep 9, 2026 after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (does not include extra time or penalties), then the market resolves to Yes.
This market will resolve to "YES" if both VfB Stuttgart and Viking score at least one goal each during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the UEFA Champions League match scheduled for September 9, 2026, 16:45 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those for this market, often reflect a more nuanced view than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd. This can lead to differences, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team statistics and expert predictions, this market incorporates real-time information and a broader range of perspectives from traders. This often results in more accurate probabilities as the event approaches, though discrepancies can still occur due to differing risk appetites and market structures.
Prices on Polymarket and Limitless for this market can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has a unique user base with differing risk appetites and predictive insights, which influences trading activity and price discovery. Furthermore, the liquidity and volume on each platform can vary, leading to price discrepancies. Trading fees and platform-specific rules can also contribute to these differences. It's also possible that information is absorbed and acted upon at different speeds on each platform, creating temporary price variations before they converge or remain distinct.
