In the upcoming 2. Bundesliga game between VfL Wolfsburg and SV Darmstadt 98, scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the VfL Wolfsburg vs. SV Darmstadt 98 match originally scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, aiming to profit regardless of the outcome. This market, however, is driven by the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the result. As such, the implied probabilities from Polymarket may differ from sportsbook odds, potentially offering value to informed bettors who can identify discrepancies between the two. It's important to compare and contrast to form your own informed opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each exact score outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of those participating.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Wolfsburg vs. Darmstadt match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff for either Wolfsburg or Darmstadt could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially impacting the style of play and final score. Furthermore, real-time updates during the match itself, such as early goals or red cards, will undoubtedly cause rapid price adjustments as traders react to the unfolding events and reassess the probabilities of different outcomes.
