If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds in this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than operator adjustments. While sportsbooks may weight outcomes based on proprietary models or public betting patterns, prediction markets let participants bet directly on their beliefs. Traders watch for shifts in both spaces, as heavy betting on one platform can signal changing expectations for the final score.
This market resolves around Aug 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score reported by official match organizers and major sports news outlets will set the result, closing all positions based on that definitive tally.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions affecting play, and tactical changes by coaches can all shift expectations for the final score and move this market. Traders will also react to pre-match polls, expert analysis, and any sudden shifts in betting volume on Polymarket, especially as the match date approaches.
