This prediction market asks users to predict which team, VfB Stuttgart or 1. FC Heidenheim, will score the first goal in their upcoming football match. A 'Neither' option is also available if no goal is scored by either team. The markets are consistent across platforms.
In the upcoming match between VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Heidenheim, scheduled for September 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET: This market will resolve to "VfB Stuttgart" if VfB Stuttgart are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). This market will resolve to "1. FC Heidenheim" if 1. FC Heidenheim are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). If neither team scores in the match (regardless of format), this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market considers goals scored at any point in the match, regardless of format (e.g. two halves totaling 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or four periods totaling 120 minutes). The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert analysis. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team statistics and player form, this market can quickly adjust to incorporate new information or unexpected developments, potentially providing more accurate probabilities as the event approaches. It’s important to compare both to make informed decisions.
