In the upcoming WTA singles match scheduled for 2026-06-30 10:00 UTC: if Veronika Erjavec wins the match, this market resolves to "Veronika Erjavec"; if Leolia Jeanjean wins, it resolves to "Leolia Jeanjean". The winner is the first player to claim the required number of sets under the match's official best-of format. If the match begins but is not completed, a retirement or default counts the opposing player as the winner. If a walkover is declared before the first point is played, the match is outright canceled, or it is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. Suspensions caused by weather, fading light, or other tournament-imposed delays do not close this market — it stays open until the match is officially completed, provided it concludes within the 7-day window mentioned above. Resolution Source: The official WTA Tour scoring page. Note: This market will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant pools and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate distributed trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show materially different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting venues, particularly if informed traders on Opinion possess edge or if sportsbooks adjust lines for liability. Comparing both can reveal where consensus differs most sharply.
On Opinion, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers set bids and asks that determine the implied probability of each outcome. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders profit by correctly predicting the match result, and prices adjust in real time as new wagers flow in. The spread between bid and ask reflects liquidity depth; tighter spreads indicate higher confidence and participation, while wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower volume.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official match result as reported by recognized tennis authorities and sports data providers. Traders holding positions on the winning side receive payouts proportional to their stake, while losing positions expire worthless. Early resolution is possible if the match is cancelled or declared a no-contest under governing rules.
Key catalysts include player injury reports, recent form and ranking changes, head-to-head historical records, and court surface conditions on match day. Weather forecasts, draw announcements, and pre-match commentary from analysts can shift trader sentiment. Tournament seeding, player confidence statements, and betting line movements at major sportsbooks often precede prediction market repricing. Last-minute lineup confirmations or withdrawal news would trigger sharp volatility, as would unexpected player statements or coaching changes affecting perceived match dynamics.
