In the upcoming Leagues Cup game between Vancouver Whitecaps FC and FC Juárez, scheduled for August 7, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs. FC Juárez match originally scheduled for August 7, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The official rules for this event govern the resolution of multiple markets based on the goal totals scored by Vancouver and Juarez in their professional Leagues Cup soccer match scheduled for August 7, 2026. All markets resolve based on goals scored after 90 minutes of regular play plus any stoppage time, with explicit exclusion of goals scored during extra time or penalty shootouts. Own goals are counted toward the team to which they are awarded. Each market has a specific threshold for goals: Vancouver and Juarez each have markets for scoring over 0.5, 1.5, and 2.5 goals. A market resolves to 'Yes' if the respective team exceeds its designated goal threshold within the defined timeframe. No adjustments are made for post-regulation periods, ensuring that only goals scored during standard match time influence the outcomes.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than set bookmaker margins. While sportsbooks may offer fixed spreads or over/under totals, markets like this one let participants bet on the precise score, sometimes producing sharper or more volatile prices. The gap can also widen based on trading volume and public sentiment shifts leading up to kickoff.
