Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert opinion. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information or changing circumstances than sportsbooks, as the crowd can rapidly adjust their forecasts.
