On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often differ from sportsbook odds because they incorporate real-time betting activity and can shift more dynamically as new information emerges. While sportsbooks may set fixed lines based on analytics and historical data, this market updates continuously based on trader activity. The difference allows bettors to compare diverse pricing models and potentially find value in either market. Traders should consider both sources to gauge market sentiment and identify potential discrepancies.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now.
