Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between UCAM Esports Club and Pixel Lumina in the VCL EMEA: Group C, initially scheduled for March 19 at 2:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "UCAM Esports Club" if UCAM Esports Club win the match against Pixel Lumina. This market will resolve to "Pixel Lumina" if Pixel Lumina win the match against UCAM Esports Club. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Polymarket provides five distinct markets with detailed resolution rules covering match outcome, map handicap, individual map winners, and total maps played—all with consistent forfeit/walkover handling and a 2-hour VLR.gg publication window. Kalshi provides a single binary market with no resolution criteria, no source specification, and no handling of edge cases, making it fundamentally unresolvable.Hero tip: Do not trade the Kalshi market. It lacks any stated resolution logic, source, or tie-breaking rules. If you hold Kalshi positions, the market cannot be settled fairly. Polymarket markets are resolvable and detailed; use those for exposure to this event.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Outlier: Provides comprehensive resolution framework across five markets (match winner, map handicap, individual map winners, total maps) with explicit source (VLR.gg with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting), detailed forfeit/walkover rules, and tie-breaking logic. Key quote: 'The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.'
  • Kalshi: Outlier: Provides a single binary market ('If Pixel Lumina wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If UCAM Esports Club wins... then the market resolves to Yes.') with no resolution criteria, no source specification, no tie-breaking rules, and no handling of forfeits, walkovers, cancellations, or delays. The market is logically incoherent (both outcomes resolve to Yes) and unresolvable. Key quote: 'If Pixel Lumina wins the VCL EMEA: 2026: Pixel Lumina vs. UCAM Esports Club Valorant match originally scheduled for Mar 19, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. If UCAM Esports Club wins the VCL EMEA: 2026: Pixel Lumina vs. UCAM Esports Club Valorant match originally scheduled for Mar 19, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.'
