Description

This market refers to the Valorant Quarterfinal 2 match between TYLOO and TEC Esports in the China Evolution Series Act 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for March 18 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "TYLOO" if TYLOO win the match against TEC Esports. This market will resolve to "TEC Esports" if TEC Esports win the match against TYLOO. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally different event scopes and resolution triggers. Kalshi resolves based on either team winning the entire China Evolution Series Act 1 2026 tournament, while Polymarket resolves based on the specific Quarterfinal 2 BO3 match between TYLOO and TEC Esports scheduled for March 18, 2026.

Hero Tip:

If you bet on Kalshi, you are betting on tournament-level outcomes (either team wins the entire series). If you bet on Polymarket, you are betting on the specific head-to-head match result and map outcomes. These are different events with different resolution criteria — a team can win the match but lose the tournament, or vice versa. Do not assume Kalshi and Polymarket will resolve identically.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's two markets both resolve YES if either TEC Esports or TYLOO wins the entire China Evolution Series Act 1 2026 tournament, regardless of the specific match outcome. The resolution logic is 'If TEC Esports wins the China Evolution Series Act 1 2026: TEC Esports vs. TYLOO Valorant match originally scheduled for Mar 18, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If TYLOO wins the China Evolution Series Act 1 2026: TEC Esports vs. TYLOO Valorant match originally scheduled for Mar 18, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.' This means both Kalshi markets resolve YES for the same outcome (either team winning the tournament), creating a logical contradiction where exactly one market should resolve YES in a typical binary group.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with standard match-level resolution: Polymarket's five markets all resolve based on the specific Quarterfinal 2 BO3 match result between TYLOO and TEC Esports on March 18, 2026, including match winner, individual map winners, total maps played, and map handicaps. Each market has clear binary or ternary outcomes tied to the head-to-head match performance, not tournament-level results. Resolution source is vlr.gg with a 2-hour fallback to credible reporting.
