Description

This market refers to the Valorant Grand final match between TYLOO and Bilibili Gaming in the China Evolution Series Act 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for March 22 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "TYLOO" if TYLOO win the match against Bilibili Gaming. This market will resolve to "Bilibili Gaming" if Bilibili Gaming win the match against TYLOO. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket and Kalshi diverge on market scope and resolution logic. Polymarket offers granular markets for match outcome, individual map winners, totals, and handicaps with detailed edge-case handling. Kalshi offers only a binary yes/no market on match completion without specifying winner determination or map-level resolution.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Polymarket, you have precise control over match outcome, map winners, and series length. On Kalshi, the market resolves YES if either team wins, making it a pure match-completion bet rather than a directional wager. Ensure your strategy aligns with the platform's scope before placing trades.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket:

Distinct stance: Polymarket offers eight separate markets covering match winner (TYLOO vs Bilibili Gaming), individual map winners (Maps 1-4), series totals (O/U 3.5 and O/U 4.5), and map handicaps (BLG -1.5/-2.5 and TYLOO -2.5). Each market resolves based on official vlr.gg data with detailed forfeit, walkover, and cancellation rules. For example, 'If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to 50-50' for the match winner, but map-specific markets resolve to 50-50 only if that specific map is not completed.
  • Kalshi:

Distinct stance: Kalshi offers a single binary yes/no market that resolves YES if either Bilibili Gaming or TYLOO wins the match, with no distinction between the two teams and no map-level or series-length granularity. The market statement is 'If Bilibili Gaming wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If TYLOO wins... then the market resolves to Yes,' making it a pure match-completion indicator rather than a directional outcome bet.
