PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms use the same core logic for determining the series winner, map winners, and total games, with identical handling of cancellations, postponements, and tie scenarios.Primary resolution logic: https://vlr.gg, with credible reporting as a backup if results are not published within 2 hours of the event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • The series winner is the first team to win a majority of maps (2 out of 3).
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner, markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed due to forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the market resolves to the winning team.
  • If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled by September 15, 2026, or markets resolve 50-50.
  • Minor name discrepancies (e.g., sponsor tags, alternate spellings) are treated as the same team if clearly identifiable.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement Deadline: If the match is postponed and rescheduled after September 15, 2026, all markets resolve 50-50 regardless of later results.
  • Incomplete Match: If the match begins but is not completed and Map 1 is concluded, the Map 1 market resolves based on the completed map. If Map 1 is not completed, the Map 1 market resolves 50-50.
  • Forfeit/Walkover: If a team forfeits, disqualifies, or walks over before the match starts, the series market resolves 50-50. If this occurs after the match begins and a winner is determined, the market resolves to the winning team.
Timing: Resolution occurs immediately after the official match result is published on https://vlr.gg, or within 2 hours of the event conclusion if using credible reporting as a backup. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Valorant Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between The Spiders and Axolotl in the VCT Game Changers North America Playoffs, initially scheduled for September 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "The Spiders" if The Spiders win the match against Axolotl. This market will resolve to "Axolotl" if Axolotl win the match against The Spiders. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

This event resolves based on the result of map 2 in the NLC 2026 match between Arctic Pandas and Verdant, scheduled for August 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM EDT. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours of its scheduled start time, cancelled, or forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Opinion

In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-09-01 21:15 UTC: if Axolotl wins the series, the market will resolve to "Axolotl"; if The Spiders wins the series, the market will resolve to "The Spiders". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Frequently asked questions

The dashboard for the Arctic Pandas vs Verdant Map 2 market shows real-time odds, volume of $37,734, and 24-hour volume of $25,725 from multiple prediction venues. It aggregates data so you can see how traders across platforms price this map’s outcome, spot trends, and compare activity between Kalshi and Opinion. The view updates continuously, reflecting shifts in sentiment as the match approaches.

On Kalshi and Opinion, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, trading volume, and how each platform handles order flow. Kalshi and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, if one venue has more traders focused on esports analytics while the other attracts general sports bettors, their collective views on the likely map winner will diverge. This often produces distinct implied probabilities until one side gains a clear edge.

Key signals that could shift this market include practice session performances, player injuries or lineup changes, and pre-match analyst forecasts. Any unexpected upset in earlier maps of the series may also sway trader sentiment sharply, causing rapid odds adjustments on both Kalshi and Opinion as the match clock runs down.
