Description

This market refers to the Valorant Lower bracket final match between Tezcat Gaming and Contra in the VCL Latin America North Playoffs, initially scheduled for March 26 at 6:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Tezcat Gaming" if Tezcat Gaming win the match against Contra. This market will resolve to "Contra" if Contra win the match against Tezcat Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve on fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves on whether either team wins the VCL Latin America North 2026 tournament (a tournament-level outcome), while Polymarket resolves on specific maps and the head-to-head match result between Tezcat Gaming and Contra (a match-level outcome). These are incompatible resolution scopes.

Hero Tip:

Do not assume Kalshi and Polymarket outcomes will align. Kalshi's YES resolves if Contra OR Tezcat Gaming wins the entire tournament—a much broader event than Polymarket's match-specific markets. If you trade on both platforms, verify which scope you are betting on: tournament winner (Kalshi) or match result/maps (Polymarket).

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi resolves on tournament-level outcome, not the specific match. The market states 'If Contra wins the VCL Latin America North 2026: Contra vs. Tezcat Gaming Valorant match originally scheduled for Mar 26, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If Tezcat Gaming wins the VCL Latin America North 2026: Contra vs. Tezcat Gaming Valorant match originally scheduled for Mar 26, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.' Both outcomes resolve YES, making this a tournament-winner market, not a match-winner market.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves on match-specific outcomes: individual map winners (Maps 1–4), match winner, map totals (O/U 3.5 and O/U 4.5), and map handicaps. Each market references 'the Valorant Lower bracket final match between Tezcat Gaming and Contra' and resolves based on official vlr.gg data or credible video evidence. The match winner market explicitly states 'This market will resolve to Tezcat Gaming if Tezcat Gaming win the match against Contra' and 'This market will resolve to Contra if Contra win the match against Tezcat Gaming.'
