This market refers to the Valorant Winners match between Team Vitality and NRG in the Esports World Cup Group B, initially scheduled for July 4 at 9:45AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Vitality" if Team Vitality win the match against NRG. This market will resolve to "NRG" if NRG win the match against Team Vitality. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader conviction and real-money stakes. Esports betting at mainstream sportsbooks may be limited or unavailable for certain matchups, making prediction markets a primary venue for price discovery. Comparing this market's implied probability to any available sportsbook line can reveal whether traders see value that bookmakers have missed or mispriced.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual series result in the best-of-three format, confirmed through official Esports World Cup records and broadcast coverage. No further action is required from you; the platform will settle automatically once the event is finalized and reported by trusted esports media or the tournament organizer.
Several catalysts can shift odds before the match begins. Roster announcements or last-minute player substitutions often trigger sharp moves, as do recent tournament results or head-to-head records between the teams. Injury reports, coaching changes, or public statements from team leadership can also influence trader sentiment. Closer to the event, map bans and team preparation updates may reshape expectations. Additionally, broader esports news—sponsorship changes, team morale indicators, or performance trends in recent qualifiers—can prompt repricing as traders incorporate new information into their positions.
