Description

This market refers to the Valorant Round 5 match between Team Evictix and Pigeons in the VCL North America: Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 13 at 7:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Evictix" if Team Evictix win the match against Pigeons. This market will resolve to "Pigeons" if Pigeons win the match against Team Evictix. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's markets are logically contradictory and unresolvable: both markets resolve to YES regardless of match outcome (either team winning triggers YES). Polymarket provides coherent, mutually exclusive resolution logic across all markets. This makes Kalshi's markets fundamentally broken.

Hero Tip:

Avoid betting on Kalshi markets in this group — they contain a logical error that makes them unresolvable. Polymarket's markets are coherent and can be settled reliably based on match results from vlr.gg.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Outlier: Both Kalshi markets (questions 1 and 2) resolve to YES if Team Evictix wins OR if Pigeons wins, creating a logical contradiction where the market always resolves YES regardless of outcome. Key quote: 'If Team Evictix wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If Pigeons wins... then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket:

Aligned with coherent resolution logic: Polymarket provides five distinct, mutually exclusive markets (Match Winner, Map Handicap PGS, Map 1 Winner, Map 2 Winner, Games Total O/U 2.5) that each resolve to different outcomes based on specific match results. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to Team Evictix if Team Evictix win the match against Pigeons. This market will resolve to Pigeons if Pigeons win the match against Team Evictix.'
