Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between T1 and ZETA DIVISION in the VCT Pacific Group Omega, initially scheduled for April 26 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "T1" if T1 win the match against ZETA DIVISION. This market will resolve to "ZETA DIVISION" if ZETA DIVISION win the match against T1. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket provides five granular markets with comprehensive edge-case logic and dual-source resolution (vlr.gg primary, credible consensus secondary). Kalshi provides a single binary market with no edge-case specification and no source reference, creating ambiguity on cancellations, delays, and incomplete matches.

Hero Tip:

Polymarket traders have clear resolution paths for forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, and delays. Kalshi traders face ambiguity: confirm whether Kalshi defaults to 50-50 on cancellation or delay beyond 7 days, and whether a walkover counts as a team win or triggers 50-50 resolution.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Five markets (match winner, map 1, map 2, total maps, handicap) with unified resolution logic. Match winner resolves to 50-50 if canceled, ends in tie, delayed beyond 7 days without winner, or ends in forfeit/disqualification/walkover before start. If match begins and one team wins by opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, resolves to winning team. Maps count toward totals and handicap if match is completed. Source: vlr.gg primary (within 2 hours), credible consensus secondary. Key quote: 'If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited this will count as a completed match.'
  • Kalshi: Single binary market: resolves Yes if either T1 or ZETA DIVISION wins the match. No edge-case logic provided. No source specified. No handling of cancellations, delays, forfeits, or incomplete matches. Key quote: 'If ZETA DIVISION wins the VCT Pacific 2026: ZETA DIVISION vs. T1 Valorant match originally scheduled for Apr 26, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.'
