PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's Map 2 market contains a logical tautology (resolves Yes regardless of winner), while Polymarket offers coherent binary and handicap markets. All other markets (match winner, map winners, round totals, handicaps, series length) are unified across platforms.Hero tip: The Kalshi Map 2 market is a guaranteed payout if Map 2 completes; it provides no predictive differentiation. Trade Polymarket's Map 2 Winner and round markets instead. All other markets (match outcome, Map 1/3 winners, round totals, handicaps, series length) follow consistent unified logic across both platforms.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Map 2 market resolves Yes if either ONSIDE GAMING or So:sweet wins Map 2. This creates a logical tautology: the market always resolves Yes whenever Map 2 is played to completion, regardless of outcome. Quote: 'If ONSIDE GAMING wins map 2...resolves to Yes. If So:sweet wins map 2...resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Map 2 Winner market resolves to 'So:sweet' if So:sweet wins, 'ONSIDE GAMING' if ONSIDE GAMING wins, with 50-50 fallback if map is not completed or decided by forfeit/disqualification. Provides genuine binary outcome with clear winner determination.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Valorant So match between So:sweet and ONSIDE GAMING in the VCL Korea: Regular Season, initially scheduled for July 2 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "So:sweet" if So:sweet win the match against ONSIDE GAMING. This market will resolve to "ONSIDE GAMING" if ONSIDE GAMING win the match against So:sweet. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Resolution is determined by the outcome of Map 2 in the VCL Korea 2026: ONSIDE GAMING vs. So:sweet Valorant match scheduled for July 2, 2026 at 7:00 AM EDT. The market resolves based on which team successfully wins the map.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets across Polymarket and Kalshi are tracking the outcome of the So:sweet vs ONSIDE GAMING match in real time. Traders on these platforms collectively price the likelihood of each team's victory and specific map outcomes, creating a live consensus view of match probabilities. The dashboard aggregates these cross-platform signals, showing how market participants assess team strength, recent form, and head-to-head dynamics. This crowdsourced forecast often reflects sharp betting activity and can diverge from traditional sportsbook lines.

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price events differently due to their distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus to discover prices. This market may show tighter or wider spreads than traditional betting sites, depending on liquidity and the volume of informed traders participating. Comparing this market's implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal value opportunities and highlight where consensus diverges most sharply.

Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries, recent scrim results, and head-to-head map history. Strong performances in prior VCL Korea matches or international tournaments can shift trader sentiment sharply. In-game momentum during the match itself—such as a dominant first map or a surprising team composition—often triggers rapid repricing. News of coaching changes, sponsor issues, or team morale can also influence market movement. Monitoring team social media and esports news outlets helps traders stay ahead of sentiment shifts.
