Description

This market refers to the Valorant Round 3 match between QoR and Pigeons in the VCL North America: Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for March 30 at 7:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "QoR" if QoR win the match against Pigeons. This market will resolve to "Pigeons" if Pigeons win the match against QoR. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's markets resolve to YES for both possible outcomes (either team winning), creating a logical contradiction that makes resolution impossible. Polymarket's markets use standard binary or outcome-based logic with clear winner/loser resolution. These platforms cannot both settle consistently on the same event.

Hero Tip:

Avoid betting on Kalshi's markets in this group — they are logically incoherent and will almost certainly resolve to 50-50 or face dispute. Polymarket's markets are resolvable and follow standard prediction market logic. If you hold Kalshi positions, expect prolonged settlement disputes or forced 50-50 resolution.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's two markets both state 'If Pigeons wins... then the market resolves to Yes' AND 'If QoR wins... then the market resolves to Yes.' This creates a logical impossibility where every outcome resolves to YES, violating basic binary market structure. No other platform in this group uses this contradictory logic.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with standard prediction market logic: Polymarket's five markets use mutually exclusive binary or outcome-based resolution. The match winner market resolves to 'QoR' if QoR wins or 'Pigeons' if Pigeons wins; map winner markets resolve to the actual map winner; the handicap market resolves based on map differential; and the games total market resolves to Over (3+ maps) or Under (fewer than 3 maps). Each outcome is uniquely determined.
