PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms resolve based on official match results from vlr.gg with identical fallback logic for incomplete maps, forfeits, disqualifications, and cancellations beyond 7 days.Primary resolution logic: Official vlr.gg results; credible reporting consensus (including video evidence) if vlr.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the best-of-three series (first to 2 maps).
  • Individual map winners resolve based on which team wins that specific map, provided the map is played to completion.
  • Round totals and handicaps resolve based on the actual combined or differential round scores on the completed map.
  • If a map is not played, not completed, or decided by forfeit/disqualification/walkover/default rather than rounds played to conclusion, that map-specific market resolves 50-50.
  • If the entire match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without play beginning or completion, the match winner market resolves 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to opponent forfeit/disqualification/walkover, the match winner market resolves to the winning team; map-specific markets for incomplete maps resolve 50-50.
  • If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited, the match is treated as completed and resolves to the team that clinched.
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward series totals and handicaps, provided the match is completed.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Incomplete Map: If a map begins but is not played to completion and no winner is determined by rounds, that map-specific market (winner, round total, round handicap) resolves 50-50. The series may continue if fewer than 2 maps are decided.
  • Match Forfeiture Before Start: If one team forfeits before the match begins (walkover), the match winner market resolves 50-50 per Polymarket rules. No maps are played.
  • Mid-Match Forfeiture: If the match begins and one team forfeits mid-series (after at least one map is completed), the match winner resolves to the non-forfeiting team. Incomplete maps resolve 50-50.
  • Cancellation or Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is canceled or delayed beyond 7 days from July 16, 2026 without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Series Total (Games Over/Under 2.5): Resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played; Under if fewer than 3 maps are played. Maps won by forfeit/disqualification/walkover count toward the total if the match is completed.
Timing: Resolution occurs when the match concludes (all maps played, series decided, or match forfeited/canceled). vlr.gg must publish results within 2 hours of event conclusion; if not, credible reporting consensus is used. Markets settle immediately upon official result publication. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Valorant match between Pcific Esports and Gentle Mates in the VCT EMEA Group Alpha, initially scheduled for July 16 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Pcific Esports" if Pcific Esports win the match against Gentle Mates. This market will resolve to "Gentle Mates" if Gentle Mates win the match against Pcific Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Resolution depends on the outcome of the full VCT EMEA 2026 Valorant match scheduled for July 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT. If the match is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, cancelled before play begins, or forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.

The Pacific Esports vs Gentle Mates match dashboard aggregates prediction market data across Polymarket and Kalshi, allowing traders to monitor real-time odds on multiple outcomes related to this best-of-three Valorant encounter. This cross-platform view helps identify which outcomes command the strongest conviction and liquidity across venues.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from continuous trader participation and real-money stakes. This market reflects aggregated trader beliefs rather than a bookmaker's margin-adjusted line. Prediction market odds often incorporate information faster than sportsbooks update their lines, especially for niche esports matchups. Comparing the two can reveal where public sentiment diverges from traditional oddsmaking, though both should be evaluated independently for accuracy and edge.

Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements can shift odds significantly before the match begins. Recent performance trends, head-to-head records, and map pool strength assessments influence trader positioning. Scrim results or public statements from team management may spark repricing across both platforms. As the match date approaches, reduced uncertainty typically narrows the spread. During the series itself, live map results will drive sharp intraday moves, particularly if one team takes an unexpected lead or if individual map outcomes diverge from pre-match expectations.
