The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi often reflect sharper, more liquid pricing than traditional sportsbooks because they aggregate dispersed trader knowledge in real time. Sportsbooks set fixed odds and manage liability; prediction markets allow continuous repricing as new information emerges. For this Paper Rex versus Leviatán match, prediction market odds may move faster in response to roster updates, scrim results, or recent tournament performance. However, sportsbooks may offer tighter spreads due to higher volume. Comparing both sources helps bettors identify value and understand how different market structures price esports outcomes.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Polymarket and Kalshi operate under different regulatory frameworks, user bases, and liquidity profiles. Polymarket may attract larger volumes of casual traders, while Kalshi draws institutional participants. Order-book depth, fee structures, and market-maker participation vary between platforms, causing temporary price divergences. Additionally, each platform's specific outcome wording—whether focused on Paper Rex victory or match result format—can influence how traders interpret and price the event. These differences typically narrow as the match approaches, but arbitrage opportunities may exist during low-liquidity periods.
Key catalysts include recent tournament results and head-to-head records between the teams, roster changes or player substitutions, scrim performance leaks, and injury or availability announcements. Meta shifts in agent selection or map pool updates can favor one team's playstyle. Pre-match interviews and coach statements may signal confidence or strategic adjustments. Live match events—early map wins, momentum swings, or standout individual performances—will drive real-time repricing on both Polymarket and Kalshi. Betting volume spikes often precede the match start, reflecting final positioning by informed traders.
