This market refers to the Valorant Round 5 match between NRG Academy and Shopify Rebellion Black in the VCL North America: Stage 3 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 25 at 4:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "NRG Academy" if NRG Academy win the match against Shopify Rebellion Black. This market will resolve to "Shopify Rebellion Black" if Shopify Rebellion Black win the match against NRG Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus and real-money conviction. Comparing this market's implied probabilities to major sportsbook spreads can reveal where the crowd sees value or where sharp bettors disagree. Many traders use both sources to identify arbitrage opportunities or confirm their thesis before committing capital.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-three series in the VCL North America Stage 3 Group Stage. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive their payout automatically when the event is confirmed and the market settles.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, recent scrim results, and performance trends from earlier VCL matches. Player substitutions or stand-ins can shift expectations significantly, as can injury news or visa delays. Patch updates to Valorant itself may favor one team's agent pool or playstyle over the other. Media coverage, expert analysis, and betting action from sharp accounts often trigger repricing. Monitor team social media and esports news outlets in the days leading up to the match for breaking developments that could swing this market.
