This prediction market group concerns a Valorant match between Nova Esports and FunPlus Phoenix in the China Evolution Series Act 3 Playoffs. Markets cover the overall match winner, individual map winners, total games played, and round handicaps/totals for specific maps. Resolution relies on official results from vlr.gg, with a fallback to credible reporting.
This market refers to the Valorant Quarterfinal 3 match between Nova Esports and FunPlus Phoenix in the China Evolution Series Act 3 Playoffs, initially scheduled for September 10, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Nova Esports" if Nova Esports win the match against FunPlus Phoenix. This market will resolve to "FunPlus Phoenix" if FunPlus Phoenix win the match against Nova Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 10, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
If over 2.5 maps are played in the China Evolution Series Act 3 2026: FunPlus Phoenix vs. Nova Esports Valorant match originally scheduled for Sep 10, 2026 at 5:00 AM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a more accurate forecast of event outcomes than traditional sportsbooks. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to reveal their true beliefs, while sportsbook odds can be influenced by factors like house bias and public perception. Sportsbooks also often limit the amount a user can bet, whereas prediction markets can allow for larger positions. However, sportsbooks may offer more accessible markets for casual bettors, while this market requires a cryptocurrency wallet and some familiarity with decentralized platforms. Both offer ways to express a view on the Nova Esports vs FunPlus Phoenix match.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading fees, and liquidity, which can all influence price discovery. Additionally, the types of markets offered and the specific question wording can lead to different interpretations and trading behavior. Currently, Polymarket currently favors Map 1 Rounds Handicap: FunPlus Phoenix (-4.5) vs Nova Esports (+4.5) at 96%, while Predict leans toward Valorant: Nova Esports vs FunPlus Phoenix (BO3) - China Evolution Series Act 3 Playoffs. These differences highlight the independent price discovery process on each platform.
Several signals could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for Nova Esports or FunPlus Phoenix would likely cause price movement. Unexpected announcements about the tournament format or venue could also influence trading activity. In-game performance during the series itself, such as a dominant early victory by one team, will undoubtedly shift probabilities. Monitoring social media and esports news sources for updates on these factors is crucial for understanding potential shifts in this market.
