Description

This market refers to the Valorant Round 6 match between Nightblood Gaming and Division One in the VCL North America: Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 20 at 4:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Nightblood Gaming" if Nightblood Gaming win the match against Division One. This market will resolve to "Division One" if Division One win the match against Nightblood Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All Polymarket questions share identical resolution logic based on official VCL North America: Stage 2 Group Stage match results from vlr.gg, with consistent handling of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, incomplete matches, and forfeiture scenarios. Kalshi provides no detailed rules, so resolution defaults to the Polymarket framework as the unified standard.

Primary resolution logic:

Official VCL North America: Stage 2 Group Stage results from https://vlr.gg, with fallback to credible reporting and video evidence if vlr.gg does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner (BO3): Resolves to the team winning the best-of-three series; if canceled, tied, or delayed beyond 7 days without completion, resolves 50-50.
  • Map Handicap (NBG -1.5): Resolves to NBG if they win 2+ more maps than Division One; otherwise resolves to Division One; forfeited clinching maps count as completed matches.
  • Map 1 & Map 2 Winners: Each resolves to the team winning that specific map if completed; if the map is not completed for any reason, resolves 50-50.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5: Resolves Over if 3+ maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played; forfeited clinching maps count toward the total.
  • Forfeiture/Walkover/Disqualification: If occurring before match start, all markets resolve 50-50; if occurring mid-match after a map is completed, that map result stands; if occurring on the clinching map, the match is deemed completed and resolves accordingly.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching Map Forfeiture: If the match-deciding map (Map 2 or Map 3) is forfeited, the match is treated as completed and resolves to the team that would have won based on the forfeiture outcome. Map Handicap and Games Total markets count this forfeiture toward their resolution.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled April 20, 4:00 PM ET date without a winner being determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Incomplete Match with Mid-Series Forfeiture: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover (not on the clinching map), the Match Winner market resolves 50-50, but Map Winner markets resolve based on any completed maps.
  • Team Name Discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, abbreviations, sponsor tags, or formatting differences in team names are treated as referring to the same team; resolution is based on the underlying real-world match, not exact name matching.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match results on vlr.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion; if vlr.gg does not publish within 2 hours, credible reporting and video evidence may be used as consensus source.
