This market refers to the Valorant match between Leviatán Academy and ShindeN in the VCL Latin America South: Regular Season, initially scheduled for June 18 at 6:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Leviatán Academy" if Leviatán Academy win the match against ShindeN. This market will resolve to "ShindeN" if ShindeN win the match against Leviatán Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and extract a margin, while prediction markets derive prices from trader consensus—what participants actually believe will happen. This market aggregates the views of many forecasters rather than reflecting a bookmaker's profit incentive. Comparing this market's implied probability to sportsbook lines can reveal where bettors and traders diverge, though prediction markets often converge toward accurate outcomes over time as informed traders profit from mispricings.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism where buying shares pushes the price up and selling pushes it down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects what the market believes about the outcome, with each share representing a claim on a fixed payout if that outcome occurs. Liquidity and trading volume influence how easily prices move, and the spread between bid and ask prices tightens as more traders participate, making the market more efficient over time.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on which team wins the best-of-three series in this VCL Latin America South regular season fixture. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution hinges on the official match result reported by tournament organizers and esports news outlets.
Several factors may shift odds before the match concludes. Roster announcements, player substitutions, or injury news could alter perceived team strength. Recent tournament results and head-to-head records between the squads influence trader confidence. Pre-match interviews, coaching changes, or scrim performance leaks may sway sentiment. In-game momentum during the series itself—particularly if one team takes an early lead—typically drives sharp price movements as traders update their forecasts. Community discussion and expert analysis also influence how traders reassess winning probabilities.
