This event group covers the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Americas Stage 2 Play-In match between KRÜ Esports and Fluxo W7M, scheduled for August 20, 2026. The group includes multiple markets across different platforms tracking match outcomes, map winners, total games, and various handicaps.
This market refers to the Valorant Lower bracket round 1 match between KRÜ Esports and Fluxo W7M in the VCT Americas Stage 2 Play-In, initially scheduled for August 20, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "KRÜ Esports" if KRÜ Esports win the match against Fluxo W7M. This market will resolve to "Fluxo W7M" if Fluxo W7M win the match against KRÜ Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of August 20, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The event determines the winner of the VCT Americas Stage 2 2026 Valorant match between KRÜ Esports and Fluxo W7M, scheduled for August 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM EDT. If KRÜ Esports wins the match, its market resolves to Yes; if Fluxo W7M wins, its market resolves to Yes. Should the match be postponed beyond 48 hours of its scheduled start time, cancelled before play begins, or forfeited prior to any gameplay, both markets resolve to the fair market price. If the match starts but is later forfeited, the outcome follows the official result declared by the governing body or tournament organizer. Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect trader sentiment rather than set bookmaker margins. On some platforms, prices can appear more volatile or skewed based on recent performance, news, or lineup changes. For example, if a key player is injured, prediction markets may adjust faster than sportsbooks. However, both types of odds offer ways to evaluate the perceived likelihood of each outcome before the match begins.
On Polymarket and Predict, traders set prices independently, so differences in liquidity, user base, and recent news can create gaps. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, if one platform has deeper volume from regional fans, its odds may tilt toward that team's recent form. Additionally, each venue may have distinct market designs or fee structures that influence how users place bets, leading to varied implied probabilities for the same event.
Several signals could shift this market before it settles. Key player injuries, coach adjustments, or changes to team rosters will be closely watched by traders. Additionally, early map performance in related warm-up matches or public statements from team analysts may influence sentiment. Any last-minute strategic updates or tournament rule changes could also cause rapid price swings as bettors reassess the odds on Polymarket and Predict.
