Description

This market refers to the Valorant Qualification match between JD Gaming and EDward Gaming in the VCT China Ranking Matches, initially scheduled for April 18 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JD Gaming" if JD Gaming win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against JD Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms consistently resolve based on the actual match outcome between JD Gaming and EDward Gaming in the VCT China Ranking Matches scheduled for April 18, 2026, with unified handling of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, and forfeits, using vlr.gg as the primary resolution source.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://vlr.gg, with fallback to consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if vlr.gg has not published results within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • The match outcome (JD Gaming or EDward Gaming victory) is determined by the actual competitive result played on the scheduled date of April 18, 2026 at 7:00 AM EDT.
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default are counted toward the result, provided the match is completed.
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover before completion, the match outcome markets resolve 50-50, but individual map markets resolve based on completed maps.
  • If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited, this counts as a completed match and resolves to the team that won the series.
  • Individual map markets (Map 1, Map 2) resolve based on the completed map result if play began, or 50-50 if the map was not completed or the match was canceled before play began.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Forfeited Clinching Map: If the series-clinching map is forfeited by one team, the match is treated as completed and resolves to the team that won the series, not 50-50.
  • Incomplete Match with Partial Maps: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, the match outcome resolves 50-50, but any fully completed individual maps resolve based on their actual results.
  • 7-Day Delay Threshold: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from April 18, 2026 without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50 regardless of partial play.
  • Map Handicap with Forfeits: Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the handicap calculation, provided the match is completed.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the match result on vlr.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion, or via credible reporting consensus if vlr.gg is delayed. All markets resolve simultaneously based on the final match outcome.
