This event group covers a best-of-three Valorant match between Gen.G Global Academy and Dplus in the VCL Korea Regular Season, scheduled for July 2, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT. Markets span match outcome, individual map winners, round totals, and round handicaps across Kalshi and Polymarket platforms.
This market refers to the Valorant match between Gen.G Global Academy and Dplus in the VCL Korea: Regular Season, initially scheduled for July 2 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Gen.G Global Academy" if Gen.G Global Academy win the match against Dplus. This market will resolve to "Dplus" if Dplus win the match against Gen.G Global Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The market resolves based on which team wins map 2 of the Dplus vs. Gen.G Global Academy Valorant match in VCL Korea 2026, originally scheduled for July 2, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT. Each team has a corresponding market outcome; whichever team wins the map will cause that outcome's market to resolve to Yes.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, fee structures, and contract designs. Polymarket's order-book model and Kalshi's binary contract mechanics create different friction costs and liquidity profiles. Kalshi's featured contract focuses on a specific map outcome, while Polymarket's broader match contract draws a wider audience. Regulatory and operational differences between platforms also influence how quickly prices converge. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these gaps, but temporary divergence persists due to segmented liquidity pools and varying trader risk appetites across venues. Monitoring both platforms helps identify mispricings and consensus strength.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or roster substitutions announced before the match could shift trader sentiment significantly. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and map pool strength comparisons often drive repricing as the event approaches. Scrim results or practice footage leaked by community members may influence early movers. Meta shifts in Valorant's competitive patch or agent bans could favor one team's playstyle. Social media momentum, betting syndicate activity, and esports analyst commentary can amplify volatility. As match day nears, real-time in-game events—early map wins, momentum swings, or unexpected tactical pivots—typically trigger the sharpest price movements in this market.
