Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between G2 Esports and LOUD in the VCT Americas Stage 1 Group Alpha, initially scheduled for April 24 at 8:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "G2 Esports" if G2 Esports win the match against LOUD. This market will resolve to "LOUD" if LOUD win the match against G2 Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms apply identical resolution logic: markets resolve based on the actual match outcome as reported by vlr.gg, with consistent handling of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, incomplete matches, and forfeits.

Primary resolution logic:

https://vlr.gg (official Valorant esports results database)

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner (Polymarket): Resolves to the team that wins the BO3 series; resolves 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days without completion, or ends in forfeit/disqualification before play begins.
  • Map Winners (Map 1 and Map 2): Resolve to the team that wins the specified map if completed; resolve 50-50 if the map is not completed or the match is canceled/delayed beyond 7 days.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5: Resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played (including forfeited maps in a completed match); resolves Under if fewer than 3 maps are played; resolves 50-50 if match is canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with a forfeit.
  • Map Handicap G2 (-1.5): Resolves to G2 Esports if G2 wins 2 or more maps than LOUD; otherwise resolves to LOUD; resolves 50-50 if match is canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with a forfeit.
  • Kalshi Binary: Resolves Yes if either LOUD or G2 Esports wins the match (i.e., the match is completed with a winner).

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of results on vlr.gg within 2 hours of match conclusion; if vlr.gg does not publish within 2 hours, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence may be used. Markets resolve immediately upon match completion or upon determination that the match will not be completed.
