This market refers to the Valorant match between FUT Esports and Natus Vincere in the VCT EMEA Group Alpha, initially scheduled for July 15 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "FUT Esports" if FUT Esports win the match against Natus Vincere. This market will resolve to "Natus Vincere" if Natus Vincere win the match against FUT Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader belief and capital allocation. This market aggregates the collective judgment of traders betting real money on the outcome, which can sometimes lead to sharper or more contrarian pricing than traditional sportsbooks. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees edge or where public perception may lag behind informed trading activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects trader positioning and available liquidity in the order book. As more capital flows into a particular contract, its price rises and the implied probability adjusts accordingly. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures that odds stay responsive to new information and shifting expectations right up until the match begins.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final score and match result as officially recorded by the VCT and Valorant esports community sources. Until that time, traders can buy and sell positions to lock in gains, hedge exposure, or adjust their conviction. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final map completion.
Team roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements can shift odds significantly before the match starts. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and map pool strength are key catalysts that traders monitor. Analyst predictions and community sentiment on social media often precede price moves as new information spreads. Closer to match time, pre-game interviews and official team statements may reveal strategic adjustments or confidence levels that influence final positioning. Live map bans and early round outcomes during the match itself will trigger sharp repricing as traders react to unfolding play.
