Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between FUT Esports and Natus Vincere in the VCT EMEA Group Alpha, initially scheduled for April 10 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "FUT Esports" if FUT Esports win the match against Natus Vincere. This market will resolve to "Natus Vincere" if Natus Vincere win the match against FUT Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket defines a complete 5-market group with unified resolution logic across match winner, individual map winners, games total, and map handicaps all sourced from vlr.gg. Kalshi presents only a single binary market on Map 2 outcome with no specified resolution source, creating a data integrity failure and making Kalshi's market fundamentally incomplete and unresolvable as presented.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade the Kalshi Map 2 market without clarification. Kalshi's market lacks a resolution source, tie-breaking rules, and cancellation clauses that Polymarket explicitly defines. If you hold positions across both platforms, Kalshi may resolve differently or fail to resolve entirely due to missing operational details.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Outlier (complete market suite): Polymarket provides five interconnected markets (match winner, Map 1 winner, Map 2 winner, Games Total O/U 2.5, and two Map Handicap variants) with unified resolution logic. All markets source from vlr.gg with explicit 2-hour fallback to credible reporting and video evidence. Cancellation, forfeiture, and tie scenarios are fully specified. Key quote: 'The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.'
  • Kalshi: Outlier (incomplete single market): Kalshi presents only one binary market asking whether Natus Vincere OR FUT Esports wins Map 2, with no resolution source specified, no tie-breaking rules, no cancellation clause, and no fallback procedure. The market statement 'If Natus Vincere wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes. If FUT Esports wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes' creates logical ambiguity (both outcomes resolve to Yes). Key quote: 'If Natus Vincere wins map 2 in the VCT EMEA 2026: Natus Vincere vs. FUT Esports Valorant match originally scheduled for Apr 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes. If FUT Esports wins map 2... then the market resolves to Yes.'
