This market tracks the total number of games in the Valorant match between Fnatic and Enterprise Esports during the VCT EMEA Play-Ins, specifically whether the match will have over or under 2.5 games. The aggregated consensus probability for the leading outcome, Games Total: O/U 2.5, is 100.0% across Polymarket, Kalshi, and Predict. Resolution is based on official information from https://vlr.gg, with credible reporting used if necessary. Watch for the match conclusion on August 7 at 2:00 PM ET as the key catalyst for resolution.
This market refers to the Valorant Upper bracket round 1 match between Fnatic and Enterprise Esports in the VCT EMEA Play-Ins, initially scheduled for August 7 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Fnatic" if Fnatic win the match against Enterprise Esports. This market will resolve to "Enterprise Esports" if Enterprise Esports win the match against Fnatic. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to unique trader dynamics and liquidity conditions. While sportsbooks may set a static spread or moneyline based on analytics and risk management, prediction markets let users bet directly on probabilities, which can shift rapidly with news, player form, or roster changes. This market’s current pricing reflects crowd-sourced expectations rather than institutional lines.
On Polymarket and Predict, prices can vary because each platform has its own user base, liquidity depth, and trading activity. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier betting on a particular map or team due to regional interest or recent performance, skewing its implied probability. Additionally, differences in market design or fee structures can influence how traders place bets, leading to divergent odds even for the same matchup.
Several signals could shift this market before it settles. Key player injuries, coaching changes, or strategic announcements may alter perceptions of each team’s chances. Live in-game performance during early maps can also cause rapid adjustments in odds, especially if one side dominates unexpectedly. Any news that impacts team morale or tournament seeding may influence trader sentiment and move pricing on both platforms.
