However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's market conditions resolve to YES for any map 1 winner (either team), creating a logical contradiction, while Polymarket's markets correctly resolve to specific team outcomes. This fundamental difference in resolution logic makes Kalshi's market uninterpretable as a meaningful prediction.Hero tip: Avoid betting on Kalshi's map 1 market—it resolves YES regardless of outcome, making it a guaranteed win with no predictive value. Polymarket's markets are the only ones with genuine binary outcomes. Focus trading activity on Polymarket for meaningful exposure to this match.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's market states 'If XLG Gaming wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes' AND 'If Dragon Ranger Gaming wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes.' This means the market resolves YES for every possible outcome, rendering it logically incoherent and eliminating any real predictive distinction.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with standard prediction market logic: Polymarket offers five distinct markets (Map 1 Winner, Map 2 Winner, Games Total O/U 2.5, Map Handicap, and Match Winner) each with clear binary or categorical outcomes. For example, Map 1 resolves to 'Dragon Ranger Gaming' if they win, 'XLG Gaming' if they win, or 50-50 if incomplete/canceled. All markets use vlr.gg as primary source with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting.
