This market refers to the Valorant match between Dragon Ranger Gaming and Bilibili Gaming in the VCT China Stage 2 Group Omega, initially scheduled for July 9 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Dragon Ranger Gaming" if Dragon Ranger Gaming win the match against Bilibili Gaming. This market will resolve to "Bilibili Gaming" if Bilibili Gaming win the match against Dragon Ranger Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines based on professional oddsmakers' models and manage risk through margin; prediction markets like this one are priced by traders responding to real-time information and incentives to profit from accurate forecasts. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders have direct financial exposure to outcomes. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news due to dedicated risk management teams. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether traders are pricing the matchup more bullishly or bearishly than traditional bookmakers.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on order flow and available liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The map handicap contract—showing BLG at minus-1.5 maps versus Dragon Ranger at plus-1.5—is priced continuously as participants buy and sell shares reflecting their belief in each outcome. The current implied probability reflects the aggregate forecast of all active traders on the platform. Prices update in real time, and you can execute trades at the displayed odds whenever liquidity permits. This decentralized pricing model means the market can respond quickly to new information, team roster changes, or recent match results.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the best-of-three series concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final map count and which team reaches the required number of wins under VCT China Stage 2 rules. Resolution occurs after the match is officially completed and confirmed by tournament organizers or reliable esports reporting. Traders should monitor official VCT channels and Valorant esports news outlets for any schedule changes or postponements that might affect the resolution date. Once the series outcome is confirmed, the market settles automatically based on the verified result.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match concludes. Roster announcements or player substitutions for either team would likely trigger significant repricing, as would recent scrim results or public statements from coaches about strategy. Performance in earlier VCT China Stage 2 matches serves as a key signal—strong or weak showings by either squad will influence trader sentiment. Technical issues, map bans, or unexpected coaching changes announced close to match time can also move the market sharply. Additionally, betting syndicates or professional traders entering the market with large positions may create price momentum independent of new information, so monitor volume spikes and sudden directional moves.
