Description

This market refers to the Valorant Quarterfinal 4 match between Bilibili Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix in the China Evolution Series Act 1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for March 19 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Bilibili Gaming" if Bilibili Gaming win the match against FunPlus Phoenix. This market will resolve to "FunPlus Phoenix" if FunPlus Phoenix win the match against Bilibili Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's resolution rules focus on tournament outcome (who wins the series), while Polymarket's rules focus on the individual match result and include detailed provisions for forfeits, walkovers, and map-level resolution. The two platforms use fundamentally different scopes and settlement criteria.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you are betting on the tournament winner; if you trade on Polymarket, you are betting on the specific match outcome with granular map-level markets. A team could win the tournament but lose this specific match, causing divergent resolutions. Verify which market type you intend before placing bets.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Distinct stance: Kalshi resolves YES if either Bilibili Gaming or FunPlus Phoenix wins the entire China Evolution Series Act 1 2026 tournament, not the specific match. The market description states 'If Bilibili Gaming wins the China Evolution Series Act 1 2026... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If FunPlus Phoenix wins the China Evolution Series Act 1 2026... then the market resolves to Yes,' meaning both outcomes resolve to YES, which is logically contradictory for a binary market.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves based on the specific match outcome between Bilibili Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix (Quarterfinal 4), with multiple sub-markets for individual maps and handicaps. The primary market states 'This market will resolve to Bilibili Gaming if Bilibili Gaming win the match' and 'This market will resolve to FunPlus Phoenix if FunPlus Phoenix win the match,' with detailed provisions for forfeits, walkovers, and incomplete maps resolving to 50-50.
