PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms (Kalshi and Polymarket) apply identical resolution logic: official VLR.gg source, 2-hour publication window, 50-50 fallback for cancellations/delays beyond 7 days/incomplete maps, and consistent treatment of forfeits and walkovers as match-completing events that count toward totals and handicap.

Primary resolution logic:

Official VLR.gg; consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if VLR.gg has not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Map 1 and Map 2 Winner markets resolve to the team that wins the respective map, provided that map is completed. If a map is not completed for any reason, that map market resolves 50-50.
  • Match Winner (BO3) resolves to the team that wins the best-of-three series. Forfeits, disqualifications, and walkovers count as match-completing events and resolve to the winning team.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5 resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played. Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total if the match is completed.
  • Map Handicap BAR (-1.5) vs Otakar (+1.5) resolves to Barça eSports if they win 2 or more maps than Otakar Esports; otherwise resolves to Otakar Esports. Forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, and defaults count toward the handicap if the match is completed.
  • If the match is canceled entirely (not played at all), delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without play beginning, or ends in a tie, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins by opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover before the clinching map, Games Total and Map Handicap resolve 50-50; however, if the clinching map itself is forfeited, the match is considered completed and those markets resolve normally.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Incomplete Map (Not Forfeited): If a map begins but is not completed and is not forfeited/disqualified/walkover, that specific map market resolves 50-50. Match Winner, Games Total, and Map Handicap also resolve 50-50 if the match does not reach completion.
  • Forfeit/Disqualification/Walkover Before Clinching Map: If a team forfeits or is disqualified before the clinching map is played, Games Total and Map Handicap resolve 50-50. Match Winner resolves to the winning team.
  • Forfeit on Clinching Map: If the clinching map (Map 3 in a BO3) is forfeited, the match is considered completed. Match Winner resolves to the winning team, Games Total counts all maps including the forfeited one, and Map Handicap includes the forfeited map in the count.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days Without Play: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (February 28, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • VLR.gg Publication Delay: If VLR.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the match concludes, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting and video evidence.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion or within 2 hours of the match conclusion when VLR.gg publishes official results. If VLR.gg is unavailable, credible reporting consensus is used. Markets scheduled for February 28, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET; 50-50 resolution applies if match is not played by March 6, 2026 (7 days later).
