PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi resolves on a binary outcome (either team wins the match), while Polymarket offers four distinct markets with different resolution scopes: Map 1 winner, Map 2 winner, Games Total (O/U 2.5), and Map Handicap. Kalshi's markets lack specificity on map-level or series-length outcomes, creating divergent settlement bases.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you are betting on match outcome only (Any Questions Gaming or TYLOO wins). On Polymarket, you can bet on granular outcomes: individual map winners, series length, and map differential. Your Kalshi position will not hedge Polymarket map-specific positions—they settle independently. Verify which market type matches your prediction before committing capital.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Distinct stance: Kalshi offers only a binary match-outcome market. It resolves YES if either Any Questions Gaming or TYLOO wins the match, with no differentiation by map count, map winner, or series length. The market description states 'If Any Questions Gaming wins... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If TYLOO wins... then the market resolves to Yes,' but does not specify separate markets for map-level outcomes.
  • Polymarket:

Distinct stance: Polymarket offers four separate markets with granular resolution scopes: Map 1 Winner (resolves to the team winning Map 1 only), Map 2 Winner (resolves to the team winning Map 2 only), Games Total O/U 2.5 (resolves Over if 3+ maps played, Under if fewer), and Map Handicap TYLOO (-1.5) (resolves TYLOO if they win 2+ more maps than Any Questions Gaming). Each market has independent resolution logic tied to specific match components, not the overall match outcome.
